Hi, I'm Katie Porter!

If we haven’t met yet: I’m an LA-based Executive Producer with 20+ years of bringing commercial, tech, and digital productions to life (and no, not the CA politician with the whiteboard—different Katie Porter, fewer congressional hearings, way more call sheets).

I got my start during the golden era of creative chaos at CP+B and have spent the years since leading productions for places like Meta, BBDO, Publicis, and TBWA\Chiat\Day. My philosophy on producing is pretty simple: be the calm in the room, protect the integrity of the creative, and make the whole process genuinely fun for everyone involved.

To me, great producing is about building an environment where creatives, directors, tech innovators, and clients feel supported and excited to do their best work. Whether that means diving into emerging tech like AI and virtual production or figuring out how to pull off an impossible turnaround on a live set, I thrive in the middle of the momentum.

When I’m not on set or managing client deadlines, you’ll usually find me making things with my hands—whether that’s cross-stitching, crocheting, painting, or coloring. The rest of my downtime is dedicated to hanging out with my two standard-issue tabby cats: Fredrick (the 15-year-old gentleman) and Birdie (the chaotic 1-year-old baby).
